Is Gita only for middle aged or older people?
Gita is for people across all age groups. Think of it like this – if you won a lottery of 10 million dollars, when would you like to win it: at age of 20 or at the age of 80 yrs. Undoubtedly, at the age of 20 yrs so that you can effectively use all that winning. Similarly, sooner one gets inculcated into Gita, sooner they can start relaising its benefit, through their lives, instead of learning the hard way – which will anyhow happen.
I am not a Hindu – can I read and follow Gita

It merely sensitises you to the outocme of your decisions – placing complete responsibility and onus on you for a life you design and deserve for yourself.
Do I have to memorize its Shlokas?
Gita does not expect you to memorize any of its Shlokas. A simple following of its nuggets, in practice, will lead to happiness.
How does Gita alleviate suffering?
Gita presents an insight into the root cause of suffering and methods of circumventing the same. By detaching yourself from the trapping of the physical world, and honing up your Self, you are able to preempt the causation of suffering by eliminating bias, judgement, discrimination, expectation, desire and control.
